The second issue of eJIFCC for 2018 is now available. Guest edited by Dr Harjit Pal Bhattoa (Department of Laboratory Medicine, University of Debrecen, HU), it focuses on Laboratory Investigation of Vitamin D and Bone Metabolism Markers. Given the pandemic of vitamin D insufficiency experienced on a global scale it is important to understand the laboratory implications pertaining to the determination of this not so easily measured analyte.
